BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY.
couples therapy
Let’s face it - relationships can be tough. They’re not always filled with laughter and love; sometimes they’re marked by silence that feels deafening or heated debates over something as simple as dinner plans. Does that resonate with you?
It’s essential to recognise that every couple encounters rough patches. The good news? Couples therapy can be a game-changer.
At EOS Counselling & Psychotherapy, our couples therapists all have specific training in working with relationships. Dawn Henley, Maria Casey, Fiona Sutton and Sheila Camino have each undertaken specialist training in couples therapy, bringing different experience and strengths to the work we do with couples.
Dawn and Maria have additional specialist training in Intimate Partner Therapy and Discernment Counselling, supporting couples facing the impact of betrayal, affairs, loss of trust, or uncertainty about whether to repair the relationship or separate.
We understand that relationships can be messy, emotional, and sometimes downright frustrating. Our goal is to create a supportive atmosphere where you can untangle the difficulties, rediscover your connection, and work towards a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.
With our experience, we won’t overwhelm you with technical jargon or push you into uncomfortable situations. Instead, we’ll help you develop effective communication strategies, resolve conflicts constructively, and rebuild trust, enabling both of you to move forward as a united team.
At a relationship crossroads?
If your relationship feels beyond normal couples counselling and you are struggling with uncertainty around whether the relationship can survive, you may find our specialist Relationship Crossroads Counselling more appropriate.
Discernment counselling is a specialist service requiring additional training beyond standard couples counselling. It follows a structured model designed specifically for couples who are uncertain about the future of their relationship.
The structured programme includes a 90 minute assessment followed by five 60 minute sessions.
